But lego was the bomb

no doubt about that but that lego 'system' theme seems modern as it was a bit after my time - only the origional lego space has that classic feel for me.

this set was the daddy when i was young-

i only really had the early blue/grey with yellow glass stuff, and a bit of the white with blue glass.
Still got most of it.
There were many space themes after those though - as shown in this layout.

If they gave me the money back that I have spent on Lego, I would be a rich man.

This was the first LP that I bought with my own money...
