My sound never got cut off on map changes, but while in-game. Not sure if this is the same fix?

Mine almost always came after a map change. Hope the fix works as intended and that it works for you too.

A required update for RO2 has been released. Changes include:

- Fixed a bug where all sound would sometimes cut out when the map changes

Wait wait, i just played again, and exactly this happened to me for the first time? lol. Didn't fix it atleast for me it was more like implemented.

If you've suddenly lost performance, check your security software. It probably doesn't not recognize the new executable and is slowing it down.

Remove RO 2 from the allowed list, and re add it next launch.

Sorry Yoshiro, but I don't buy this explanation, something else have changed, used to run this very high/ultra settings with no problem and now suddenly it seems sluggish, very clear fps drop after patch(es).

Yeah, there also seems to be an FPS drop for me. I run on Ultra.

Going to delete my config and add RO2 to anti-virus exceptions. Hopefully it works.

Look, if 1 or 2 people were reporting an FPS drop i'd agree, when a whole server states the same thing (and quite a few people on the forums) something isn't right.

Sorry, you might be able to blow smoke up someone else, but that excuse, is not valid. As the only security software I run is MSE and was not on allow or deny list before, even after your "suggestion" still same.

Pleeease stop with the optimisations. FPS is definately lower from the last 3 patches. GTX480.

Tripwire need to test their patches more. Not only do i get a fps drop , but also the first bug which ramm describes which would cause all sound to cut off never happened to me before, but after this patch it happens pretty often.

Framerate is worse than before patch. My hope is gone that this game is playable for me one day.
