After getting 47 kills with an AVT-40 on TE-Station, I noticed that it recorded 47 kills with the SVT-40 instead. At first I threw it up to buggy stat saving issues, but after a few more rounds of using the AVT-40 exclusively I think the issue may very well be that the AVT-40 is recording all of its kills as SVT-40 kills when it comes down to leveling up weapons. Stats are really buggy as is, but this seems to happen very consistently when I use the AVT-40.
EDIT: Unfortunately, I have not tried using the SVT-40 to see if it accrues AVT-40 kills/stats but will check back in if I notice this in-game.
