Okay, so I want to port this model from the source engine and I have managed to put it into 3ds Max. So I import that model into 3ds max and texture it with the Materials Browser and export it as a .ase file. However, when I import(imported both the texture and the static mesh itself) it into the Unreal SDK and apply the textures, they just cover up the whole static mesh. Also I get the error message "ASE Importer Error : Did you forgot to include geometry AND materials in the export?"

Images:
That is what it should look like. The modifiers that came with the imported file were 'Skin' and 'Editable Mesh'.
