Youtube keeps crashing my computer

For some reason, for the past month or so, my computer will randomly completely lock up when I'm on youtube. It seems to always be when I click on a video link from within youtube.

It's the total crash where if I click the mouse I get that "eek" sound. Ctrl+alt+delete, alt tab etc. doesn't work.

What could be causing this?

try right click on the video -> config -> disable hardware acceleration

And if that works, try uninstalling your video drivers, run driver sweeper and reinstall them again.

My old computer gave me BSOD in youtube. (Nvidia, XP)

My new one just freezes with an annoying sound when youtubing in fullscreen. (ATI, W7 x64)

Both solved by disabling hardware acceleration, I blame Flash.
