I really enjoy it, and the mods will make it last for a long, long time. Just hoping they can resolve the performance bugs; I can't play much due to the latest patch, though I could before.

I'm having a great time with this game. Only rarely do I suffer the extreme bugs (sound disappearing, crashing to desktop) but I simply just boot the game up again and continue where I left off (the server remembers you so long as the same map is being played still). The many in-game bugs and quirks don't bother me that much anymore. I think maybe I've gotten used to the little things.

You could probably say something clich

I love it. It's just so.. Fun. It's actually extremely fun. And the tactic component, when you're playing with the right people/have luck and end up on the right team, is just amazing.

It's the first game in which I've ever seen people discuss tactical options in a fully public service. I also love it's unique feeling. Everything, from graphics to controls, is its own. You see the ammount of effort that was put into the game, and see how well things ended up combining.

The bugs, although extreme at first, are becoming very easy to overlook as the game progresses. I've still got some preformance problems, and I really can't play the game as I should. However, it's nothing like release, and that eases my mind. :)

It's probably the only game I've played online since Battlefield 2, or Red Dead Redemption, that had me hooked on the online. And that's great. :D

Love it, aside from the occasional sound dropping out or my ironsights glitching, and it's a fantastic, intense, atmospheric, well-presented experience for me.

It's in a sad state, really, IMHO.

How long has it been since launch... we still have (off the top of my head, in no particular order) hardware being underutilized, horrible LOD swap-in objects 10 meters away, borked stats, server browser that kills internets, guys walking through hail of bullets even from MGs and just need to bandage a bit, disappearing sound, map spots which make you stutter like mad, soldiers 1,20 m tall, no sign of co-op campaign, mandatory suicide on class change, rather unimpressive sound engine, random promotions killing you and you can't respawn, first shot blank, PPSh the power of BB gun, you can't even cancel your chat with ESC, ffs!!!

That's not even touching a myriad of wtf-head-scrathing design choices, some sounds, and the lack of 'battle atmosphere', since that is kinda subjective... nor tanks, since it's a world of pain of its own apparently, glad I don't like tanking :)

Oh, and the Mkb fiasco. All of it. :)

And the forgotten clanplay tools... Linux server... what about coop? Lots of promises not fulfilled...

Not as deep or as tactical as i was expecting.
But fun for me as just another FPS.

If they could just concentrate on the sound stability issues I'd be a happy camper.
Hmm that's probably an inappropriate expression.

To me, it's just another FPS, but I feel that if one thing is tweaked here, and another there, and another here, we have a game worthy of :IS2:

I still have plenty of fun with it, though.

This game faces some really serious bugs, but when I see the devs constantly contributing in this forum and patching the game nearly every week I feel somehow "safe" that this game will be bug free very soon.

I never played RO1 but i love RO2. This game is so intensive, the Battlefield series looks like an effect driven hollywood action movie.

The day the game is coded properly to use my available hardware is the day i'll rate the game 10/10, sadly i don't think that day will ever come, hence i voted option 3. This is a game i just want to love BUT can't and is a game i have actully talked quite a few people out of buying based on how badly it runs and the bugs.

Shame.

I swear, the day the game makes use of my system to give a decent consistent framerate and the major bugs are squashed i'll talk everyone and anyone into buying it.

I think I fall into this category even though I still enjoy it for the most part. Ignoring the bugs, there is still a fair amount of work to be done on balance IMO (mostly endgame stuff), and there are a few features from RO that really should have made it into this game, but didn't.

I'm really hoping TW will be open to the idea of fleshing out and/or adding new features to the game because there are a lot of good suggestions out there.

before the release i was hoping that its ro2 and not ro:hos

not really the bugs (hey i played all mods, from beta, in ro1 with all their bugs because they made fun). but the general close combat automatic fest gameplay and the lack of "long range boltfest maps" (berezina, tula outskirts... ) is ruining my fun

so im waiting for new gamemodes and mods to play

State of release was downright offensive but it's playable now (for me). It's a good game, the only MP game I play currently.
Still way too buggy than I expect of a game one month after release, then again I am hardly pressed for time and the patches are coming out quite frequently.

Design wise I like the game, can't say I love it. I dislike the small maps and how the game modes work (feels too.. spawn, sprint, eventually die, respawn). I was looking for something more akin to ARMA 2 than CoD (this is nothing like CoD, but it's more in that direction than ARMA 2).

Bigger maps + countdown will probably sort that. Hell, there's nothing (bugs aside) I dislike about this game that mods can't fix. And I already enjoy the game as is.
