It happened just the way Nestor hinted at.
Too expensive for the not-US or not-incredibly-rich people like me, esp. with shipping and tariff :/

These are only good on paper and in video games where reliability and numbers arent important, same saying Maus is better than T-34 (exaggerated exmpl).

Well, but u can't say he is the best tank of WWII only because he is mass produced.
When I search for THE best tank of WWII,numbers doesn't care.
Only the 1 vs. 1 battle against other tanks.
Till today the Jagttiger is the heaviest tank ever "mass" produced.
But everyone has his favourite tank and thats good.
You like the IS-2,I like the Jagttiger and we are all waiting for Red Orchestra 2,so everything is fine :D

I did not hint at that, I hope - I am not in the US and am certainly not rich, but I am getting one.
No, not the price. This shirt becoming official merch in some way or the other, that's what it meant.

Since you were the one who came up with the IS2 shirt, this obviously has more value to you. That's quite a special case, and with shipping and tarrif making up almost 50% of the price, not everyone may consider it matching the perceived value.

I wil gladly work an hour to have the honour of wearing that shirt!!!
Or maybe I just ease on the amount of coffe I drink or the amount of actual fresh meat I tend to buy some times.

Just have to borrow the credit card of my bro to get it, but that will be fine:D

I think the IS-2 was good because the Ruskies had large numbers of them and typically it didn't matter how many were lost in battle. I would rather be in a King Tiger, where at least I would stand a chance of surviving battle.

Sweet looking shirt, I love it in red. Unfortunately, $25 for a t-shirt better have a picture of me riding in the tank :)

But seriously, T-34 was probably my favorite tank, so fast, yet I have a strange obsession lately with the Panther. Go figure.
