Google Maps is weird. You tell it from Alberqueque to Atlanta, and it routes you Little Rock, then northward a bit on I-40 through Nashville.

You tell it Little Rock to Atlanta, and it sends you south through Birmingham.

Stone Mountain's nice during the day, but at night, to a Yankee, it gets a litle creepy.

Kennesaw Mountain makes a great little hike, and is much more scenic. That was one of my first outtings with the woman who became my (second) wife.
