It is (if by "Winchester" you mean "Lever-Action rifle", i'm not sure if it's a Winchester, it could also be a Marlin), and it's the same one we saw in the trailer, look at the trailer again and you will notice the rear sight on there, it's sitting behind the hammer of the gun, sticking up quite a bit actually so you can't miss it.

I think it's misaligned because the player is probably moving his view to the side, so the front of the gun tilts accordingly.

Or maybe the player in the screen is moving thus making the sight bit misaligned.

That's called a Winchester 1894 with tang sights, that is, special aperture sights screwed into holes drilled/tapped in the tang.

There is no misalignment on the weapon, the shot just shows that the character was sidestepping or moving away from the zombies while aiming.

Kind of makes sense right?

I'm happy then.
I was afraid the winchester will have the same problem as in the mod (dunno if it was a problem or it was intended)

that ring isn't weird, that ring is nearly standard because in real life you can see through its called a "ghost" ring for a reason people. and the misalignment (lets hope to jesus) is due to the character sidestepping like in RO

Eh, not too crazy about the new sights. I would've been more happy with the old ones. The only lever action 30-30 I ever fired had regular open sights.
