Xbox series s no exp

I bought the game a few days ago, I was having a blast, and suddenly got hit with a no xp gain bug where it shows I gain xp and level during a match but it reverts as soon as the match ends. I read through various posts with this issue and it seems as though it's caused by quick resume.

I've tried deleting local saved games, I've deleted the entire game, and I've deleted my profile, none of which have fixed the bug for me.....

I'd love to keep playing the game but no xp is a deal breaker, does anyone know how to solve this?

I dug through the forums and didn't find anything that I hadn't already tried. And then some friends and I tried playing last night and none of use could connect. I see you posted 30~ minutes ago that the Xbox servers are down for this game atm though. So hopefully once they're up it'll all be resolved.
