Searching for survivors.
Any chance the way the C4 detonates can be changed?

Let's say you have 8 placed. If you point the detonator at one of your placed C4 charges, it will blow up that charge. If you are not pointing at a placed C4 charge, it blows up a charge in the order they were placed.

This would make C4 much more fun to use. You could pick and choose which charges to blow, allowing you to detonate the 8th charge if a Fleshpound happened to walk over it even if all 7 other charges haven't been blown yet.

The current way the C4 is mentioned to work is limiting. Players would enjoy having more control over how their weapons work.

Good idea, like the Scottish Resistance for the Demoman in TF2.

Backblaaast! Fantastic. I love that tier 1 too, we get to spawn in game with that!

If you guys ever get bored of games development, go into weapons design! Seriously, that thing looks fun to play with.

Just another thing too, I like that pattern on the M79. Looks fierce.

No M32?
Why did you do this Tripwire, I'm very sad :(

Many weapons including the m32 were added to kf1 several months after release, and I would suspect the same for kf2.

I had the same idea. This would be just perfect, and will give players the chance to ignite the C4 which matters according to zeds position. FPInstakill/10

Not Here
This put a big smile on my face. Thanks for the last 3 WWAUTs, it's a good idea to do those guest ones because you don't have to type up a report every week but we still get one. Then we're happy cause we get plenty of info to make it a little more bearable running around as a support on Paris, bored.

Thanks for the update.

I agree with being able to have more control over C4 detonation.

I'm also sad there's no M32 in the base weapons, it just seems so essential to make a demo useful in a HoE game. Hopefully it will be added later on.

Exactly. If you have your placed charges mapped to memory and a zed is over the right spot you can trigger it without looking. If you know the target you want to kill isn't on a charge in the next order of the line you point your detonator to the spot and blow the target up that way.

More control in the hands of the player. The player can be creative with their detonation sequence or pick and choose which to blow and when. Being stuck on a particular pattern once placed no matter what isn't very fun.

I can't wait for the videos of new players wiping the entire group with the rpg! Technically the demo is the only perk that actively has weapons with friendly fire, will that backblast be lighting everyone's heads on fire, or is the explode-y side the one we should worry about?

Maybe when the pistol perk comes out

No, because the perk skills are applied only on the perk weapons. The grenade pistol is not GS weapon so the GS won't be able to hold two at the same time.

something designed to take down a tank.

Question is, Fleshpound > Tank?

Also, blast order on C4 shouldn't be that big a deal because you don't have to place all of it at once. just place one or two at a time. I don't think fleshpounds are meant to be killed instantly under any circumstances, originally being added to break camping teams up.

This is like someone saying electric weapons *will* be perkless or the new perks are certainly SWAT and martial artist (placeholder names in the files). We don't know! Saying otherwise is futile because nobody does. Even TWI don't know at this point is my guess, as they'll think about it when they get to work on the Gunslinger. But once again, how could I possibly know that either?

Just saying, you can't say for sure. I don't have a problem running around with 2 of those! Not like it'd be OP or anything to run around with 2 tier 1s.

Do you benefit from your perk bonuses when using non your perk weapons now? No. And if they make it otherwise the game will be ruined because there won't be any point of the different perk weapons - everyone will play with every weapon because he still will be getting the bonuses.

Dual wielding 1-handed tier 1 weapons wouldn't be gamebreaking, far from it! It'd double your firepower and ruin your precision aiming. Who said gunslinger would get demo bonuses to the weapon anyway?

If anything, it'd be one of those things you just wouldn't do because it's a waste of money and not powerful enough. But it would be fun, which is something I personally want.
