Would seem quite boring and redundant to have it only for Hans.

FB and Demo have resistances to fire and explosives since they can damage themselves with them. Gunslinger can't take the revolver and shoot himself in the head tho.

Ricocheting bullets confirmed. :p

Finally a class that promotes head shots.

Ill be honest tho, I expected/wanted a perk level to be:

-Do 60% more damage with a single pistol

-Now all duel pistols are automatic and shot 20% faster

so you have a nice dynamic choice of how you want to play.

Feel like there are a lot of people that really don't like dual wielding so much. I was hoping that there'd be a perk that made single pistols a viable option for this perk. Something that increases damage when you use only one weapon. because just having the option to dual wield kind of forces you to dual wield, in order to increase effectiveness to the fullest if there isn't such a single-weapon focused perk to balance it out.

But I guess this looks cool anyway.

Dual pistols for hordes, and single pistol for accuracy and maybe extra damage, like half commando and half sharpshooter mode, could be great like that
But I suppose it s almost done now, will see the choice TW will do, and we can trust them it will be great!

I'm thrilled about getting new content but I'm not too sure how to feel about the grenade.. I don't see a much difference between this one and a few of the others we already have.

It has a unique dispersion pattern (Upward cone, as opposed to the frags sphere of shrapnel) meaning you need to utilize the environment to maximize damage (namely indoors via ceilings)

All that really boils down to, to me, is a smaller blast radius.

I really am happy about the new content but I just wanted to throw that out there, not trying to drag the thread down or anything.

Well how else do you have 10 different grenades? Do you have any suggestions for 3 more grenades that aren't just modified emp, molotov, dynamite or he grenade? Throwing knive/axe for the Martial Artist is an obvious one, maybe flashbang or "pipebomb" style trap grenades for Swat. For Sharp I have no idea, maybe a cryo grenade so he can headshot frozen enemies.

Well since the whole Gunslinger thing is fit for an Erron Black crossover, it could just be a spike nade that covers an area on the ground and all zeds moving through there are slowed down. Maybe even damage them.
There's an idea for a Gunslinger nade that's not just a frag/HE mixup.

With that said, I'm NOT bashing at the current grenade, I quite like it. Looking forward to playing it, though at this point I have literally zero hype for any new content. I'm just joining the conversation about the 10 different nades.

I doubt we'll see any non-AoE items used as grenades for a class, like a throwing knife.

Anti-Tank Grenades are one option. Russia made a number of different type of AT grenades with a shaped charge meant to be thrown onto a tank. US light vehicles have been damaged by insurgents using them in Iraq and Afghanistan. A better one though would be the old AT Sticky Bombs the British manufactured during WWII or the improvised sticky bomb types you see in Saving Private Ryan made with a sock, grease and a bunch of demo explosives. Not entirely reliable at sticking IRL, but that doesn't matter for a game. Those would be fun to lob onto an FP (would have been perfect for the demo or commando, but they already have grenades).

Baited grenades might be fun too, depending on how smart zeds are. L4D had pipebombs that emits a sound or smell that attracted zombies which could potentially work for KF2.

Is it possible to currently shoot a grenade to detonate it?

If not that could be a viable option for Gunslinger. Perhaps give it a bigger hitbox or dimensions and allow it to be manually detonated through gun shot.

While I appreciate the mechanics of the nailbomb, I just dont think it fits well as a "gunslinger" type grenade. I'm not saying it shouldnt be the nailbomb as I personally dont have an idea of what other creative explosive it could be...I'd just prefer a more western influence to it, just to fit within the "lore" of the title, Gunslinger.

I think the nail grenade could be unique if the primary explosion would be really small and weak, but the amount of projectiles it spawns would be larger and then have them coat a large area with a carpet of nails that slow/stumble/knock down Zeds while damaging them.

As suggested above. Then the whole upwards explosion pattern would make sense too.

No it's not and several explosives don't interact in any way either.

It has been suggested before and there are tons of ideas for different and interesting grenades in the suggestions forum. Enough for 20 perks if they wanted to!

I will wait until I can throw them myself but my first impressions of the gunslinger grenade are:
1) It doesn't seem particularly fitting for the perk.
2) It doesn't seem to have a unique mechanic.
3) The explosion looks neat but there is a chance those shrapnels are only show and don't actually do anything.

I'd like to put it out there that I'm not attacking the grenade our developers chose for the new perk. I just said it doesn't do it for me is all, it feels "meh."

why not make it a caltrop small aoe cluster of metal spikes that cause damage and slow down enemys

then again that could be the perfect sharpie nade

The nail bomb seems like it would be more fitting as a berserker grenade because it looks too brutish for the classy gunslinger. But that is just my opinion.

Maybe there is something we do not know about it, just like how the dynamite stuns zeds. Maybe the nail bomb can activate zed time when it kills something just like in the video but that also could be merely coincidental timing. That would make it perfect to be able to utilize zed time on purpose when the proverbial **** hits the fan.
