At least we wont have a wannabe VA who just tries to hard with the japanese

I notice, when I try to learn Chinese, people in China are like "That is great, keep trying, we're happy to help you, don't worry about mistakes just keep learning"

When I try to learn Japanese, people in Japan are like "you will never, ever get it right, so why bother. You'll only get it wrong and make people angry. Stop."

Because of the culture differences, japan is more about perfectionism where as china is large enough that they understand, culturally, how varied dialects can be

If anything you'd think the Japanese would be more understanding. They're basically the only country that speaks the language and they're an island nation at that! Meanwhile China is massive enough that they could be entitled to some pushiness if they wanted it. Weird. But I guess Japan as a whole is a lot more strict like you said.

The Japanese are still very much a prideful hermit society, not the most friendly to foreigners. Although things are changing, such as most recent Miss. Japan is half-black which sparked quite the discussion, many not seeing her as Japanese.

My mother has been in America for close to fourty years, but was born and raised in Japan. Just recently, one of her Japanese friend over there mentioned her Japanese was sounding weird.

Speaking of not being Japanese, I heard there are a ton of russians in Japan.

Won't lie that I am having a bit of a withdrawal from the lack of WWAUT updates. Maybe they are planning something huge? Maybe they are using the Polycount contest as a distraction so they can blow our minds?

Maybe if I took Yoshiro to a romantic dinner I can seduce him enough to get him to spill the beans. What kind of food does Yoshiro like?
