Uuuuurgh. That gun design.... ivory, wood, arabesque etching - this is victorian era furniture, not weaponry. Definitely going to use custom skins for pretty much all the gunslinger weapons.

It's not because you're a ruthless killing machine that you can't have the charm of a gentleman .

I personally like them better that way. They're already overused weapons ,if they can AT LEAST look different , that's still something.

The weapon skins look great, however, I think the heat burns are a little bit over done and the 1911 skin looks really lack luster.

The 1911 shoulder either be redone with a better scrollwork scheme and the removal of the tacky "1911" and "KF2" font or it should be a standard service model with a parkerized finish.

The 1911 would be alright if the "1911" and "KF2" looked better. It just looks like someone slapped on some plain text.

Actually that image doesn't fit at all... especially ever since his gas attacks have been nerfed to the point of irrelevance.


We can kill Volter the way we used to kill Patty: stack zerkers around him and pound him down in seconds. His point-blank AoE gas discharge does pitiful damage now.

I do not like the "Killing Floor 2" / "KF2" decals on the guns. It ruins the immersion for me. The characters in the story don't know they're in Killing Floor 2. They wouldn't have decals like that. Maybe I'm nitpicking, but I don't like them all the same.

The branding of KF/KF2 on them is specifically to keep them from getting sued for using trademarked weapons in the game. Colt gets rather butt hurt about people using their stuff in games and demands high royalties most times. That's why they are M1911's not 'Colt 1911's'

Just noticed there's a "KF2" on the grip of Desert Eagle aswell. Although not as intrusive as the "KF2" on 1911 (and I think it would be covered by players' hands most of the time anyway), it's still mildly immersion-breaking.

I don't see why they couldn't just make up a fake weapons manufacturer in the Killing Floor universe and tack those logos on the guns. Just like we all know Horzine, there could be a fictional organization / organizations that provide the mercenaries with weapons. Maybe even develop a small lore around it.

Just my little rant / idea. Meaning no offense, the models themselves look absolutely amazing.

And I absolutely can't wait for Gunslinger. Just the other day I booted up KF1 after a long time and used only .44 Magnums. It felt bloody awesome.

Yeah surely the royalties can't be a huge factor when deciding which weapons to put in the game since the guns are in plenty other games already

But either way, those are still a work in progress as far as I understand. Editing the textures a bit can't be that hard, since I expect few people to prefer the big KF2 logos over plain paint jobs.

+1 to the M1911 looking cheesy and tacky. Do we really need another western looking gun? The engravings on the 1858 were fine and classy. But the golden flower engravings, the ,,KF2,, and the ,,1911,, engravings does not fit the M1911 at all. The M1911 is a classic, reliable firearm and not a child's toy. Also the heat staining on the ends of the guns is a little too much for my taste. Great models though, keep up the good work! Cheers.

I am in love with that Deagle. Could make the tip burn a bit less though, but still looks amazingly sexy. The Deagle has always been one of my favorite guns of all time.

The M1911 looks bad, way too bling'd out like others have said. The .500 looks pretty good.

Keep the 1911 model simple. Adding more simply detracts from it's design. Please consider changing it.
