I have to say, I'm not particularly fond of the Colt. I really am going to miss the MK23. I really just... Don't like the colt. I love everything else for gunslinger though. The metal effects on the deagle look cool.

The "KF2" logos on the Desert Eagle handles were the first things I noticed, but the "1911"s on the 1911s look like an eyesore as well. 1911 should be kept simple, and as far as the DE, I don't see what was wrong with the original biohazard symbols from KF1.

The 1911 fancy little lineart seems frilly to me, and a bit overdone like the double barrel shotgun. Maybe a little less of that perhaps?

And is there any time estimation or "dev days left" for the coming update?

I am sold for the GS.
Can't wait to clean all the trash with these fine pistols

Something on that Desert Eagle doesn't look too appealing to me. I made some comparision shots.
Imho the savety handling mechanism needs some touch. Edged handles instead of a flat profile!

Spoiler!
plis down the scale of the pics!!

thanks

Well I dig the metallic color with the pearl hand grips but do we really need two "western" looking guns? It's not bad looking but it just seems redundant considering the 1858's. But if you're not going to change that at the very least get rid of the "1911" and "KF2" engravings. It looks cheesy and unnecessary, we all know what game we're playing and what gun we're using. No need to stamp it on our weapons.

Another +1 here on the 1911 being overdone, even considering that the Gunslinger's weapons are (I think) intended to be more showy than usual (i.e. a "collector's edition" aesthetic, excepting the Desert Eagle of course).

That said, I would be fine with just removing the "KF2" (and maybe the "1911") and giving the flair some toning down and wear. This would, in my view, give it a more "classic" look befitting the 1911 while still maintaining their intended appearance.

P.S. to the Devs: Any further details on the upcoming mod workshop?

I also agree that the 1911 is too heavy on the eyes. Would be nice as a free alternative weapon skin though, because I'm sure TWI will introduce some sort of gun skin system in the future. I think the default skin for the 1911 should be much more plain though. Similar to the level 50 version in Rising Storm.

Now all we need to know are the perk skills, the Gunslinger's knife and grenades.. and of course when the update will come :3

I'm half-expecting we're gonna have Tactical Reload in this perk. The low magazine counts on all 4 guns and the fact that it's a gunslinger...

Another thing I'm curious about is how much the weapons will weigh, and which ones can be dual-wielded. I don't think dualing the .500 is going to be pleasant XD

Exactly, and I sure would hope they're all dual-wield-able. Otherwise, it seems lame to run around with a single pistol as one's main weapon. Just doesn't seem like enough damage potential.

Totally misleading Thread title... now that I've read it, it makes sense but what my overly-hopeful self thought was, "Surprise! All Player classes are coming with the next update!"
I was so stoked... so stoked.

Anyway -flashlights- if everyone can use them regardless of their weapon doesn't that defeat the purpose of Nightvision? If everyone starts stapping-on pocket flashlights I will also only think of Silent Hill - the entire time, everytime. Also, the Cooperative play with Support & Medic being mounted-flashlight support is also then gone.

I still suggest a weapon attachment feature. Lower the price of the base weapons marginally that have accessory mountings & then add subsidary attachment options that cost a little extra at the Trader Pod. When already on an "attachment ready" weapon at the Trader, push 'd' (right) and an extended menu drops down of available attachments.
Available attachments would vary based on the weapon:
* Bayonett, Flashlight, shotgun, grenade launcher, ACOG scope, lazer-sight, silencer, & foregrip.

Now a little question, just thinking at laud. Would shooting left gun with left button, and right gun with right button work? I'm just saying cause on tactical side of things, cause with reloading with just one gun empty might save some time instead of reloading two of them. Also left-right-left-right clicking for emptying those beauties might feel more connected too.

Might complicate controls a bit, but I do feel it would add more depth in gameplay.

Okay, I have to admit , the 1911 looks pretty rad!

As for the flashlight... it doesn't make much sense and I don't think it was truly necessary ,but why not . It worked in Left 4 Dead so why not in Killing Floor?

(I secretely hope the desert eagle is still called the "handcannon" though ,even if I think the .500 is more deserving of that title! )

These are excellent gun models TW! The details are amazing and the textures look great (oh my god they even have finger prints). However I have some small gripes with them. I think that ornate 1911's can look great, however the ones here look like they have a sticker slapped onto the side because the design is so simple looking and has such thick lines that make it look like an amateur engraved those guns :(. A more finer and complicated design is needed in my opinion to prevent that tacky look (you guys were able to make it look like that on the 1858's). I also think that the heated ends on the deagle and the zed collector are a bit too much and should be made more subtle like on the 1911's. Also I think that it would look better having the tripwire logo be on the grips of the deagles instead of KF2 since your logo is a circle anyway and it would look more subtle than having those letters there.

Also if someone could make these skins as dlc weapons that would be my obscene dream.

I do not like the "Killing Floor 2" / "KF2" decals on the guns. It ruins the immersion for me. The characters in the story don't know they're in Killing Floor 2. They wouldn't have decals like that. Maybe I'm nitpicking, but I don't like them all the same.

Those handguns looks so badass! Can't wait to virtually hold them and pop some Zeds with them!

Never personally held a Deagle in my life (yet), but I think that the grip looks a bit slim compared to the slide of the model, and the sights look very slim too. Can somebody confirm/correct me?
The plastic portion of the grip seems to be a bit flat (on the sides), they are a little more rounded to fill your hand.
Other than that, it's the most accurate model I've seen in a game!
Other devs tend to flub the details, this one is spot on.

Edit:
Just had a look. Yeah it's pretty much perfect.
Though I would've gone for black with a blank finish. :p

Uuuuurgh. That gun design.... ivory, wood, arabesque etching - this is victorian era furniture, not weaponry. Definitely going to use custom skins for pretty much all the gunslinger weapons.

Also, regarding the flashlights - there's been that simmering weapon-upgrade-discussion. Why not allow a player to spend say another 100 bucks and get a flashlight for his weapon of choice? I think there'd be a ton of nice opportunities there. Laser pointers, holo sights, underslung attatchments of all sorts... If you don't want to go that way, it is fine, but I kinda liked the flashlights on the weapons instead of some helmet light.

Searching for survivors.
Please take the fancy swirly designs off the 1911. They ruin the gun. It's a functional killing tool, it doesn't need flamboyant swirly designs on it. We're trying to kill zeds, we don't need cute designs on our guns.
