9mm Dualies were added with the last update so we could gather player feedback and we have been paying attention. As such as we move forward on the Gunslinger perk we now have two different aiming modes available.

We would also like the community to help us pick the default mode when going into iron sights with dualies. Answer the linked survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DNDJHLY) to be heard! As always stay tuned for more news over the coming weeks.

Anyhoo, already working on a forest-y-map so this is pretty awesome to hear, and more-so to see such a gorgeous looking screenshot. Ohyes ohyes ohyes very much. ^3^

I think we need a third "asshole-gangster"-option where the guns are both centered but held sideways, since all da cool kids in da hood can't aim for ****.

I'm not very fond of the new firing sound for the 9mm, it sounds even weaker than it did before :(

I prefer the KF1 style aiming since it is for the gunslinger. If it was for the sharp, then I think that it would make more sense to be the current KF2's aiming because sharp is more about precise headshots. I wouldn't be opposed to it being an option in-game as long as it doesn't take away a possible alt-fire idea that you guys might have.

Edit: I just watched the webm again and could notice the hitscan vs projectile difference with the KF1 style.

The current shooting style is good but I was thinking about a style I saw in some movie but I can't remember if it was face off or equilibrium. Basically its like how it is now in KF2 but after each shot you switch your sight so it goes like that look through right iron sight, shoot right, switch to left sight sight, shoot left, switch to right, shoot right, switch to left, shoot left, switch to right and so on. And the important part is that you are not moving your viewing position but you are moving the shooting hand in front of your eyes on top of the previous hand not from the side. It looks like you are climbing are rope but very fast. It looks neat when you imagine it, or see it in the movie lol

I really like the new way of aiming and actually prefer it, but I think it would look more natural if you automatically raised both guns like KF1 since you are already holding them both out and then switched to the new way if you want more precision. I also think that when you aim the new way with a single pistol raised only the raised one should fire, but not sure if that is possible.

Can't wait for the new map. Still leveling the current classes so in no real hurry for another one. A couple more cosmetic options would be nice though, some military helmets and stuff. A flight mask would look pretty cool, but maybe not make a lot of sense (then again, x-ray specs :p)

Regarding the reload and reload canceling, I see the problem that it can cause, as reload canceling with dualies would significantly decrease reload time to what it actually should be.

Looking at the dualies gif, I noticed that the ammo count is immediately refilled once the first 9mm has been reloaded. My suggestion is to change it so that once the second 9mm has finished its reloading animation, the ammo counter fills itself.

1 map teased + proper aiming with existing pistols. not much

without the sharpshooter this game doesn't feel right, kinda surprising they roll out these sidekick perks first

Nope. They mean the black forest cake yo...

About the aiming. I prefer kf1 but I do not dislike the current one we have at the moment. I see alot of people are scared of change and/or are too lazy to adjust to new ideas, mechanics ect..

Bottom line? I will use whatever tools you give us And I will get used to them with time.

Hm, it's actually a tough choice between the two for default but the current system's use of the sights might come in handy for most people. At least until they get some practice under their belts. A toggle in the settings would be nice of course.

And +1 to the sound being a bit weak but it's just a base pistol anyway.

Very happy with the return of KF1 aiming mode.

I voted for KF1 style aiming mode before even thinking about it. Will the choice between those 2 aiming modes be gunslinger exclusive or available to anyone?

If the KF1 aim is intended for some sort of rapid fire mode and the other one is for more precision, then it would be good to have the precision mode enabled by default.

If the aim mode switch is gunslinger exclusive, the other perks should keep the current aim mode, because they aren't experienced enough with using dual pistols and have to actually aim. :D

There's a lot of buzz about the dualies aim but the way I see it there's 2 things to consider:

realism: We get to fire one gun at a time, "dual-wielding" is practically just having two guns that you can empty in quick succession, and there's no increase in rate-of-fire.

coolism: If we go this route the aiming system can be basically whatever since it's not going to be realistic anyway. I prefer the KF1 style because KF2 looks a bit goofy and KF1 is what I would do if I had to use 2 guns at the same time. If accuracy is a problem, just add a pin-point crosshair when aiming down, we have on already anyway.
