Blocking and parrying concerns

I like most of the changes so far but I'm concerned about having skills that rely on parrying. Last I checked parrying was very supceptable to latency and often out right didn't work for off-host players. Has this been addressed? Also I hope the bloat resistance reaches useful levels like my much beloved KF1 zerker and not something meh like 25% resistance.

is it possible to rework all perks?
I feel kinda stupid if i pick the backup skill instead mag size as commando :/.
And can we remove the level 25 zed time skill to permament bonus?
for example:
"Commando does 10% more damage and 30% less recoil."
stuff like that.

Other perks will have some changes (some may make this update, or may not) but none are currently looking at an overhaul.

If you're buffing half the skills so radically that they only vaguely resemble their pre-buff incarnations, I'd call it a rework.

How do you buff Nightvision to make it compete with Call Out?
How do you buff Backup to make it compete with Large Mags?
What does Single Fire need to compete with Tactical Reload (and, in practice, Autofire)?
What are you giving to Impact to compete with Autofire after you're done with the varmint?

That's 40% of the commando skills with no obvious buff to make them viable.

Commando alternates his skills from the early game into the mid game to maximise his earnings.

Backup to use pistol ammo early
Single fire for the varmint rifle to get all the ammo out of that first

Only one i don't really make use of is impact, because by the time i have commando weapons that can actually stumble things i have already transistioned.

On topic however, realtime zed movement going to be quite amusing to see. You made even more of his skills based around knockdown, however knockdown isn't actually in use yet, does this mean it is going to be in 1009?

Don't forget about the zerker's grenade! That pitiful little stun grenade momentarily inconveniences the little things that a normal frag outright kill, and does next to nothing against the bigger things like a fleshpound.

I know you want every one to have a special grenade type but those things are nearly worthless as is. I'd much rather have regular frag grenades than the current EMPs.

This is awesome! I can't wait to try out the new zerker! With these improvements it will likely become one of my favorite perks!

You don't use EMP to kill things, it disables them from using special attacks including raging.

These are certainly some useful skills! I was hoping for health regen, but health-gain-on-kill is just as good, I think.

Actually, if I have any complaint about the new skill set, it's that it's still 100% melee focused, which really reinforces the false conception many players hold that the nailgun and eviscerator do not actually exist. :p I was hoping we'd see at least ONE skill option tailored to the half of our arsenal that shoots projectiles..

Then again, if that health gain on kill works with ranged attacks that could work out for 'zerkers who enjoy the Nailgun and Eviscerator; First you charge into battle with melee attacks, then you step back and blow away some crowds of trash zeds from range. Boom, health regained. Yeah?

I like the new skill tree. I believe it is definitely an improvement from the old one.

Does the passive movement speed still only apply when you have a melee/berserker weapon out?

Thanks for sharing this info! Berzerker is the only perk I don't have decently leveled. Seeing this steady flow of information is getting me excited all over again. I hope more people get to see it so they can hang on while tripwire carries on with the sickness.

Please just make the Berserker be able to run faster than a Medic.

And is it possible that we'll be able to 1 hit clots? If not, then please reduce the crawlers slashing resistance to where it does not need 3 hits with Crovel and Katana...
