So, if I'm understanding this correctly:
  • 35 achievements for perk levelling (plus another 15 in the future when MA/SWAT/Sharp are released)

  • I'm reading it as 14 Perk Leveling Achievements- 1 each for getting any perk to levels 5, 10, 15, and 20, along with 1 for each perk you get to level 25 (hence the "for each perk" note by level 25).

Interesting. That would certainly be fewer "fluff" achievements in that case.

I'm just a bit concerned because, as of right now, there are 74 new achievements, and my calculations bump up on that number. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, regardless.

I assume its gonna be the SS due to the very high demand.

The SS would make logical sense seeing as it's popular and is the sole remaining perk from KF1 yet to make an appearance. But seeing as the Gunslinger has been officially confirmed, TWI may well be deviating away from releasing all the KF1 perks first. They could very well reveal in a WWAUT thread a week or two from now, that the SS is the 2nd perk in waiting.

But I suspect it will be the Martial Artist that is the 2nd perk. Reasons include:

1) There is already an MA perk weapon in Early Access: the Katana.

2) Yoshiro's "ninja outfit being not fit for work" remark in another WWAUT thread, although vague by itself, could be hinting that the perk is around the corner but isn't quite ready yet.

3) Gunslinger is all-guns while the Martial Artist (theoretically) will be all-melee, such as their namesakes indicate. With such a contrast, both perks together would actually be a very good pairing in the next content update and would continue the theme of two opposing perks being released together.

4) There is precedent for releasing the Martial Artist sooner rather than later due to how the Berserker is constantly in line of being reworked. Before the content update, the general consensus was that the Berserker was underpowered; now it's overpowered if anything. Releasing another melee-based perk gives TWI an extra reference point to help find the sweet spot with the Berserker.

5) Seeing how much extra time and effort they've put into a melee-based perk already, it's likely that the Martial Artist could raise similar concerns of being underpowered/overpowered. Although we don't know anything about the weapons or skills of the 3 unannounced perks (except the katana), recent history has shown that melee perks require the most attention in terms of balancing. Thus it would be better to get the Martial Artist out first, just in case it needs a slight rework by the time TWI release the final two perks and two maps.

I think the katana is in the game at so early stage because its easy to implement. It takes a lot less time to model katana than a revolver for example. With all its actions and different reload animations.

This is one of the game more scrotum of recent times! And it is not only I who is saying this... there is a lot of players frustration attempting with the gameplay rotten and lack of good sense in the game! Perks completely unbalanced, FP and Scrake impossible to kill in hell on earth! You wanted to be the guys! We will create a game where nobody can have fun! The important thing is to be difficult, without giving the player the right to survive using their skills! Congratulations TW... you are the dudes!
Nor, 100 more perks able saves this game!

Indeed, it's never concrete as we know from InD's numbers!

I must say it's annoying not having pc or internet access for the past month, but it's also been a blessing in a way as I haven't been nearly as impatient as I was last time! I recommend everyone who is really eager and checking daily to occupy yourself with other things! It helps, seriously.

I still haven't seen any videos related to gunslinging either! But soon my sweets, soon!

Was confident that would be today the update! Could have delayed the launching of KF2 to 2016, and continue with the support to the KF1!

Update confirmed for Soon(TM). ;)

(That said, are you planning on releasing charts of estimated dev days left once you all have a rough idea of how long it will take, like before the InD update?)
