I made the graph.
It shows remaining days of tasks per developer, for the next update. If developer 3 has a bar that goes to 20, that means the tasks assigned to them are estimated to be completed in 20 work days.
When their work is complete, it goes to QA.
So now i have to ask, how does your weeks work. Do you guys have the typical 5 work days a week, or do you do some sorta variation of that.
I gotta say even if you guys worked 7 days a week (which i know you dont nor do i expect it from you guys), that still puts this at 2 and a half weeks away, thats sorta a bummer its that far away. Making this estimated at 3 maps and 2 perks in 4 months.
You know what though, im not even that mad though because for once we were finally given a timeframe, something to look forward to. For that, i thank you guys.
Lol seriously though, could you maybe throw one of the weapons from perhaps demo in the game in a patch between now and then to sorta give us something to play around with and get us more hyped. We already have one for firebug so that would be overkill, but perhaps one of the already revealed demo weapons would be a cool idea. Plus is would make a wider audience know about the upcoming update.
P.S. Whenever you could tease a sharpshooter weapon in the game, id be extremely grateful. This game needs to start seeing some more big zed guns. Plus i feel like a part of my killing floor soul is missing without sharpshooter. Plus i feel like it would be a cool idea to have a weapon from every perk planned to be in the game anyways. For alot of us our perks arent in the game yet, therefore, we sorta gotta make due with the perks we have, but if we had one weapon from each perk we could enjoy using that weapon. You can see that has already had some success with the katana and the martial artist perk as well as the flamethrower holding over the firebugs urges up until this next update. This is assuming of course that you have worked on the other perks to some extent and have one weapon from each perk done (or really close) to put in the game.
P.S.S. I need to get my sharpshooter fix, and its just not there right now. Not even sharpshooter, i just really want to play around with a rifle (non assualt variant) in the game. Right now its just plagued with shotguns and assault rifles, which are fun dont get me wrong, but for me nothing could ever top a nice ole lever or boltie. Also if you look in the general discussion threads, youll find that in the topics that ask for most desired perk, sharpshooter shows up with about 60% of the vote, showing no doubt its very well missed and wanted. This is hopefully something you have taken into account when planning you updates past this next one.
