I have found a really great spot to find information regarding Axis information about anything: www.axishistory.com

However, I have been yurning to find out information regarding the allies. Does anyone know of any sites perhaps? Such as information regarding USSR, Great Britain and other allied nations.

"Knowledge" is a rather broad term - it'd be easier to recommend sites/books/e-books if you narrowed down your area of interest a bit.
E.g., if you're interested in a comparison of various infantry aspects of contemporary warfare, bayonetstrength would be a good place to browse...
