when you (or a deer..or anything with blood/liquid inside of it....acid?) gets shot...it bleeds! and hte blood hits the ground.
lung shot = HUGE sprey of blood. look on grass tahts high.
heart shot = mostly internal bleeding, but a solid line of blood on the ground.
body shot = dashed line of blood, might get thin and hard to follow.

most of my shots on deer have been insta-kills or run 50 yards and fall down. so i realy dont know what shot = waht type of trail....but i do know how to follow a blood trail!
and humans do the same thing. its kinda gross, but the blood swurting 50 feet CAN happen in real life. and a lung shot is nasty if your heart is pumping and your breathing fast.
