So im proned up on a balkony at Zeb`s house (S side). im covering the East alley with my mg34.
I spot a russian soldier trying run accross the alley and open up on him, 1 shot hits him in top half of the body as he rounds the corner of a building.
Now after 10 sec. (bandage time) he pops out and shoots me in the head in a fraction of a second, ALLMOST NO AIM TIME.

Im sick of the perfect aim in this game, and even sicker of the penalty free wounds.

The wounding system should probably be scrapped until it can be better fleshed out. I mean, we are shooting high caliber firearms in tight spaces, almost every hit should take you out of the fight until you can get proper medical care.

I wouldn't mind if they added reduced aiming capabilities depending on where you're shot.

It's made even worse (if possible) by the fact that if you get shot in a certain part of your body and bandage it, then that part of your body no longer takes damage.

So in other words, if you shoot someone in the leg and they bandage, you can shoot them 1,000 times in that same leg and they wont' die. No joke -- test it out if you want.

I don't have a buddy who plays this game with me but if this is true, then...

The statements in bold are contradictory. That's aside from bandaging needing some serious reworking.

The current healing system is just like in COD.

The only major diffrence between COD and RO2 healing system is that you heal yourself manually in RO2 and that your damaged bodypart becomes immortal agianst bullets after It's patched up. It even takes longer to regain health in Red Faction: Guerilla than what it takes to patch yourself up in RO2. The event described in the first post shouldn't have happend no matter if he missed him with the MG. We all could say that it may happen sometimes but we all know this happens all the time in RO2. It's a part of the gameplay and that's about it.

The new RO2 aiming model, feels like the same what you can see at
this CS video:
5HS Deagle Airshot Amazing - YouTube

So +1, i hate it too.

It does nothing of the sort. The aiming model is fine and is in no way comparable to that failvideo.

The damage system however is indeed messed up. Especially if that thing about bandaged limbs being impervious to damage is true. Shots to the torso should result in bleeding out or instadeath, there should not be any bandaging possible for that. And yes, it would be nice if shots to the legs would cause slowness like in RO1 and shots to the arm would cause you to drop your gun, and possible even make your aim unsteady.

The wound system isn't permanent. I get that. Tripwire tested this. People would just off themselves if they got shot in the arm, but I'd like three things.

Longer bandage time. It takes longer to bandage yourself.
Longer bleed time. You don't bleed out like you're a fountain.
Increased weapon sway or reduced movment for a short time.
You bandaged yourself, but it takes time to stabilize.

That way we do suffer a bit from getting shot and it takes some time for you to get back on your feet. Perhaps literally.

If this is true,it is a serious issue with this game.Possible "hit detection" cause?

Wounded/bandages needs penalties this is clearer than the water.

This is bad.

I came to the conclusion that bandaging is out of place in ROHoS.
Just doesn't fit right.
Hit detection doesnt seem right.
I remember putting 3 TT33 rounds up close in the upperbody of a german running directly towards me, he simply stopped and shot me with his kar98 and bandaged his leg after that.

maybe some first person bandaging animation along with it. I think far cry 2 has the best first person bandaging animations in a game to date.

Also, a dev post about this body part bug after bandaging would be interesting to confirm it...
