Won't start on Linux & Steam. Black screen.

Hi all.

Now that Steam for Linux was finally released I went on and looked for a game to play. I bought Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 through Steam. It was downloaded and installed and finally a file check was made. All OK.

However when I want to start the game all I get is a black screen. Sometimes there is the Tripwire logo, but nothing more.

Music and sounds is OK and the game starts because if I move the mouse I can hear it passing buttons and I am able to blindly click here-an-there. Music is also on.

I need help to debug this and make it work. I am a long time Linux user but I'm new to Steam and it's structure.

Can someone offer support for this game and problem? ...

I am confused I was expecting at least an reply or something. Isn't this the place to ask for support for Red Orchestra? Anyone from Trypwire?

Fresh Ubuntu Linux 13.04 install with Legacy AMD Driver for 4670HD GPU.
Other games work well.
When I click play for Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 the game won't launch.
A small splash screen appears, the disappears after a couple seconds, & that's it.
I started steam from the console, & this is the output after clicking start.

Definitely something wrong there, but I don't know how to interpret those errors.

Hmm, not too much into the games mechanics anymore these days, but my best bet would be to either recache the game files within steam or, if that doesn't solve the problem to delete the entire content and re-download ro.
