I love killing floor and play it a lot. But now and than I want to play the map- stalker or something, so I try to host a game. And every time, 1 no one joins (which I guess is expected, you need a few players to start with), so I invite my friend, but he tells me it won't let him join. So he hosts a server, and it won't let me join. I've read about ports and all that stuff but I'm a mac owner and new to computer gaming, so I don't understand most of what is said.

Alright, tell me what kind of router you have and I'll try and walk you though it.

Try getting him to join by typing in your ip address manually.

To find out your IP, go here: http://www.whatismyip.com/

Then tell your friend to open the console (` key) and type "open ip_address_here"

See if that works.
