After the steam launch window disappears, the RO2 picture pops up and stays there. Nothing else happens. My computer suddenly sounds like it was labotomized (the "thinking" sound the computer makes while processing disappears. It goes completely quiet). ROGAME.exe is using 99% of the computers resources, and I have to end it via task manager.
Tried installing the UE3redist. Didn't ameliorate the situation. Also tried running rogame.exe manually. It says "the beta needs steam". Steam is still open and running.
I am running a single core processor. I've read in another thread stating that is most likely the problem. That said, in my steam forum thread another person has the exact problem as me and he is running a dual core. *shrug*
