that sucks I've lived in the outskirts myself, so I know the feeling.. I guess its not really economicly suitable to build out broadband everywhere.. so what about politics?, we just got a more left-leaning goverment now, and one of the first things they promised was DSL covering ALL of the country, as part of a more country/farming friendly politics

I dont know about Canada, but I thought it was a little less capitalistic than the US, if not, you'd better start voting on some commies

Yeah I'm on Telus as well BeerHunter, but I'm in Calgary so the connection is good. They can be a pain to deal with at times.

I think you can forget satellite option if you want to play online.

Satellite connection give you verry good transfer rates(dl) but very bad pings.


Please check this before ordering a satellite connection.
