For the past 4 months Fel and I have been working hard on a new type of mission map never seen before in KF. It follows a traditional story based map, but has special events and objectives that the player must complete in order to proceed. These events are similar to ones seen in L4D. The map starts players out on a road. From there, players make their way through a sewer system and then to part of the outskirts of a small town. The story which Fel and I are creating will take place over two maps. The second map will start off where the first one leaves off. The second map is still several months away from beta, but the first one is getting close. Game play time for the first map is roughly almost 1 hour. The file size will most likely be a little under 90 MB.
The division of work on the map is as follows:
S281- Map concept, geometry (terrain, buildings, etc.), and detail (A lot of it)
Fel - Special Events (Some of which are interactive, others more cinematic based) and Game Play (Zed Spawns)
