Hello everyone! Working on a few map porting projects from the game Dungeon Defenders to Killing Floor 2. Been fun so far, but quite difficult to say the least without crashing. After trial and error, I can proudly say this map KF-DD-TowerSiege is near a releasable state (Starting Beta atleast). I can't release it yet though due to SDK not supporting Custom Materials yet. So until that happens, i'll try to keep improving the map.
The original map name is DD-TowerWars, a pvp-tower based map where blue/red team fight each other with waves of their own till they destroy the crystal. I did this map first as, essentially a test really to see if I can achieve porting. It was really difficult and tedious, but I finally got it to work. I even got the treasure chests to finally open with sound and everything! Yay! Now for the drop loot effect.
This map is pretty much a 100% port, but i'm also adding a few personal touches to it like adding a room and some other stuff!
Plan-to-do:
-I plan to add all SkeletalMesh mobs with Animations from Dungeon Defenders on the Stands
-Work on Portals for Teleporting possibly?
-As mentioned earlier-A drop loot effect when opening chests
-Add a Forge for Trader Swap with full animation/FX
-Fix pathing bugs/glitches
-(Optional)Add Crystal Core?
