  • Weve updated the Tripwire Privacy Notice under our Policies to be clearer about our use of customer information to come in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules that come into force today (25th May 2018). The following are highlights of our changes:

Description: As the name suggests, Biolapse is a Biotics Lab themed Holdout map. I've been working on this map in my spare time since I think around April. It's actually getting pretty close to release; atm there are 2 core arena's left to make but the map is entirely playable. No download link yet, I'm planning to upload it to the workshop once they are done but I thought I would start getting some interest out there. All the maps so far have been tested with 6p HoE and offer quite a challenge. Anyway enjoy some teaser material :p

Looking good, the layout of those rooms are reminding me a lot of the new Doom

Lol - I had to finish some stuff for work and my computer had some hardware failure (I lost a lot of blend files for the map...) So I'm a bit behind - but Im a good portion into the next one - hopefully can have it done by the end of the week and then its just mesh merging.

Final Room has been finalized! Woo! Now on to finalizing - minor polishing and optimization. This was my 3rd attempt at doing a tentacle breach. The first one was the second map I ever made felt a bit too custom-mappy so I scrapped it. The third one looked great but didn't play well - basically felt like a corridor shooter. I finally was able to get what I wanted with the 3rd map however.

Well that was an ordeal but the polish stage has been completed and now I'm moving directly onto Mesh Merging and Optimization - the map is getting very close to being complete.

I've also added collectibles around the map that I feel fits the theme of the map pretty well.
