Willy Pete and the NVA - Media Update

I think the effect looks pretty good. Two issues though:

1. The smoke should stick around much longer as WP burns for quite sometime creating an area effect. The smoke is extremely damaging to inhale so perhaps that can be taken into account as well if a player decides to run through the remaining smoke.

2. WP does not burn people up like a marshmallow over an open flame. It's more like a roman candle bomb which can burn down through your skin and remain burning inside you until it completely burns itself out. Not sure how you recreate that in a game exactly but its currently strange using the burning death animation from the RS flamethrower.

Dunno how accurate, but there is a short instance of WP usage in the movie Fury.
Instead of burning like they do in that video, soldiers had these white "drops" of burning and smoking phosphorus all over them and all over the place.
Here's a screenshot (sorry for the potato quality, and that light saber is a MG tracer):

We were soldiers did the same thing.

But yeah that's pretty much what it would do. Only in that particular scene everyone should really be dead already.

Yeah I don't know if you would be able to see the specks of light coming off the guys, don't know that you wouldn't either though. I liked how in Platoon there was just wispy smoke coming off the guy and it looked really unpleasant but still pretty down to earth.

Also lol yeah that image looks like Darth Vader surrounded by dying Nazis.
