Just wondering if, for example, im firing an mp40 or other hand held weapon whether or not ill see the bullets eject from the chamber, possibly making a 'pinging' sound upon impact on the floor/surface?

Thanks

You mean the casings? If so then yeah I think there will be at least a few, hopefully making their own sounds when they hit the ground/floor.

Probably between tits.
I would be mighty surprised if shell casings weren't included. I would mighty prefer to have adjustable settings for shell casing-stay and/or amount. Another nice addition would be to have different sounds depending on caliber and surface. For simplicity's sake, one set for pistol/SMG-ammunition, one for rifle ammunition, and one unique set for the mighty PTRS/PTRD. Grass would be borderline silent; concrete, tile and rock could share their sound, and wooden floors would have their characteristic clattering.

That would be no more than a quarter of an hour's work for a sound-engineer, although coding it would probably take longer.

I remember when I first noticed they added it initially (2.x possibly), sat in one of the houses in Warsaw overlooking the square - twas a satisfying noise as a rifleman to hear the shell landing on the wooden floor next to you.
