I must admit that I am a bit of a hat addict. Not like thoes guys paying real money for bills hat, but the type that wears his rare hat with respect!
I'd like to see some hats, but thats probably mostly up to VALVe.

I don't see the issue. If your worried about the game being filled with idiots, you need not be. The game itself will weed out those who are not worthy. And if they still get a hat or 3 then it's not a total waste of money for them.
