Will there be a 'demo recording' feature?

Will there be a proper demo recording functionality in RO2:HOS?
Hopefully in same manner as in Enemy territory and source engine games, where user is able record a match and the view it afterwards from different players view, set up cameras and convert output to videofile etc.

I for one would like to record my p0wnage videos :)

It's on the wishlist of the competitive scene and afaik it was send to TWI.

I'm pretty sure there will be a demo recording feature because the unreal engine 3 supports it already. The question is how much effort TWI puts into optimizing the UT3 vanilla demo function, so it works flawless with HoS.
While in Ostfront demos worked... somehow, it still felt like TWI didn't touch the code much or even not at all.

Let's hope TWI gives us good demos with 1st person weapons. For the rest, there is RypelCam :)

no wait for this feature after release. as addon content its a feature id love to see but i want the game released to. this feature doesn't seem necessary for initial release. :D

What a lovely list! If TWI manages to incorporate at least the more important parts of that into their game, it will be absolutely brilliant.


(small typo in there tho, which will definitely cause TWI to disregard the whole list!!!!! "to investigate a users immediately when obtaining complaints during a match" - the first "a" should be removed) :p

So the release date is getting nearer and some folks are even playing the beta.. Any info on the demo recording feature, is it there?

Sorry for necro, but when it will be available to do player-side recording? Alpha stage was 4 months ago.:IS2::IS2::IS2:

P.S. Is there any way to keep bodies at least in singleplayer or own server?

Its a pretty big thing, alot of people would make videos from the game, like myself, i average about 500 views a video and that would bring people into the game, so free publicity.
