Will RS2 feature better optimization?

Since RS2 will be 64bit and running on Direct 11 is it going to be better optimized than Rising Storm? How big of an improvement can we expect if this is the case? I don't think I've ever seen more than 70% GPU utilization while playing Rising Storm, I'm hoping RS2 can do better than that.

last time I checked EU3 engine no matter how much you upgrade it / tweak it, it will stay DX9 bound, so IDK from where you got that KF2 runs on DX11?

MSI Afterburner reports KF2 runs on DX11 whenever I play it. The newer versions of UE3 support DX11 as well.

KF2 does use DX11, however it's a custom implementation that TW did with various additional changes tied into it to suit the small arenas and shadow heavy maps of KF2. They would cause us significant issues on RS2, so we won't have DX11.

As far as less than 100% GPU usage, it's down to the fact that UE3 is heavily CPU bound and there's only going to be so much we can do about that. We'll be optimising it as best we can, but simply using more GPU is not a particularly accurate measure of how well a game is optimised. Quite the opposite in fact.
