Because as weird as that may sound to some of you, poor people do exist...actually they make the majority of gaming, to be honest...

and I have 2gigs of RAM (with 8600gt) and i will hopefully barely run it, and if you must know, there are people with worse rigs playing modern online games with good FPS as long as they keep their settings low...

800 pounds is more than many people I know get a month from fulltime job
to keep good pc that can run anything well at mid-high graphics it is about on average

My computer is

Intel i7-4790
14GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 770
1K Hard Drive
and a 128GB SDD
(and some additional perks)

Cost me 800€ (+instalment fees which round up to 200€ So in total 1000€ spread across 12months)

And Im poor.

Don't buy a computer and pay the full price upfront, get it in smaller instalments and suddently you can see you can afford a lot more.

Before I bought my new rig in 2012, I was on an AMD Sempron 3000+ Single Core CPU at 1.99GHz, 2GB ram and an Nvidia GeForce 9400. I mainly played Source Games and other stuff, so I do know 'poor' people exist, but given by todays tech, you can get a much faster computer for gaming for 300-600 bucks. That being said just save up your dosh, be smart :v

Right now my specs are average but not the best, and it can still (at least I think so) outperform the "NextGen" consoles.

My Specs:
Spoiler!

Saving up dosh with exactly 0 income is a bit hard especially when you got bills to pay....

mind you I am very proficient with dosh...if I have it....

most people in my country run games on crappy rigs anyway...besides I dont mind playing on low settings... I just feel offended by rude responses to the OP by some people here. If anything he made a proper topic because in his case his rig is bad....unlike the spammers asking if their PC can run it when they got high tier machines just so they can increase the size of their e-peen

Well you could always establish some budget cuts for a given time if its worth your while.

And yes, having a toaster/bbq grill for a computer makes you feel like a peasant in the "PC Master Race" zone, and people here are rubbing it in the wrong way by creating silly threads to poke fun into those who spam the forums with "weil my bbq grill run da gaem". I always seen the people with such great rigs to be kinda spoiled and unfair, even though I have a pretty decent computer I still feel that way because I know the pains of playing games at 15fps like TF2, yet I was still good at the game and owned the people with their so-called high-tier computers due to their lack of still and not knowing that the "Lag struggle is r33l"

Also in KF1 if you had low fps you had an advantage to the other players because you barely had any recoil on your weapons. When I played firebug, by default you have some ridiculous recoil (which was unreal as bawls) but if you had low fps, well you don't get any haha.

Maybe TWI will make a "Ultra Low" setting in the graphical options and make all the zeds look like lego blocks.

My first computer was a windows 98, my second was a XP, then a Vista, they were all potatoes. Now With planning and ooking into the future I managed to get a good up-to-date computer.

I ain't gonna sugarcoat the fact that the OP or you have potatoes as computers. I've been there and I got out, so can you, all you need is to set a goal to work forwards to and make sure you make it. Durpy made it pretty clear already.

Rude or not, what I or others said are facts that you can't ignore just by saying that they're "rude".

With all respect, this or my previous posts weren't hating or showbloating.
