Hi, I wanna buy Killing Floor, but I don't know if it'll run well in my computer. Here's my specs:

Windows XP SP3
Intel Pentium Dual CPU
4 GB of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8300 GS

Thanks in advance.

I'm certain you could launch it, but not with very high settings. 1024x768, @ medium/high is my guess. (Edit: That's for about average frame rate. Depending on your preference between graphics and speed, you can either lower it or bump it up quite a bit.)
Compared to any other game released in 2009 or later, it should be great. Personally, KF plays better than Left 4 Dead and some older Call of Duty titles on my PC - very well optimized in performance and quality.

Hope that helps at all.

How much Ghz got your dual cpu? Im worried about your graphic card GS really sucks! I got a 8600 GS and it works OK but I think it should run Ok at you

Thanks. I don't really mind graphics, I care more about performance.

I was going to suggest that as well, but I just checked that Killing Floor isn't in the list. I suggest using Red Orchestra as the test game.

EDIT: For some reason it rates my two 8800GT's (512mb ea) in SLI as having 2.2GB of memory. I don't recall it doing that in the past

In any case, it is a good guideline and you can probably do a bit better if you keep your computer clean, your hard drive defragmented and your startup programs to a minimal.

I would not recommend the site CandleJack, MD, is referring to. I tested vs CoD:BO. Iy runs to choppy on my rig for playability, but the site gave it a pass.

Currently i have 2 Pc's , the work one and the gaming one
The specs of the work are ( crap btw)
Intel Celeron 1.8ghz
2 GB RAM
Intel Express Chipset GMA x3100

And KF runs on it , but with very low settings , it's playable anyway.

If you care about the gaming one :
AMD Antlhon x2 64 +5200 ( 2.71ghz)
Nvidia Geforce GT 240 1 GB DDR3
PSU 520 wt
With that rig i can play it in hightest , AA x16 and everything on max , with 120 fps. ( Sometimes they decrease to 40 of course)

should run fine with any settings on your computer, I have

AMD 64x2 7850 3.6GHZ 12MB Cache
2GB RAM
1.75TB HDD
GTX260 Graphics Card
860WT PSU
12 fans xD loud as when I turn them on high.

Overall I get an average of 295 FPS when it goes down in some areas it goes to 260 FPS, when I run the mod Out of Hell(UT2004) it lags like hell... I guess the maps do have like 2000 emitters on each xd

i think you already passed the recommended system requirements mate and Killing Floor should run like a piece of cake on your rig. my pc got only single core celeron 2.6ghz 1gb ram ddr2 128mb n6200 64bit AGP and i can play fine on low settings 1024x768 resolution.
