Then you really don't get the message.
I allready know i'll be buying Ro2, there is no doubt about that, and the only thing i would personally be interested in seeing, is any new features we don't allready know about, and gameplay photage is not going to give me that, i pretty much know how RO plays, having been a fan since the the game made it's first debut on UT2003, and i can imagine how the new features would work with that.
I don't want gameplay photage for my own personal ammusement, i want it to promote the game, i want it so i can finally have something to show my freinds that i know will impress them, and get them excited for RO2. I want it because i see the reputation RO2 is getting out there, and it's not good, it is one of confusion and doubt, and it hurts me to see this, and i fear the damage may become ireparable, and the game will be passed compleately over in favour of BF3 if something isen't done, and soon.
Also, i'm not buying this "it's not finished" line, because it is finished enough for them to make a stable compile, and show it off LIVE at conventions, and the game is very near featurelock. And you know what? Aside from the terrible video quality (because thease vids are recorded on a camcorder pointed at a TV), the game looks really good when they do it! I have seen more done with less!
You absolutely could make a good gameplay video from what we've allready seen, the build we saw at GDC was certainly up to par, and obviously, since we have allready seen the videos, we know they feel it's good enough to show (and with good reason).
We just need to see that in the right setting, recorded with Fraps, and showing off some real gameplay, then we can get people excited for this game, and dispell the myth that RO2 is vapourware and has 1999 era graphics.
