Why the movement speed is a BIG DEAL

This is still going so I'll just add this, it's a game intended for COOP play - "needing a medic" isn't a flawed design in a team environment, especially for the boss fights where the speed is being noted as a disadvantage for some perks.
You misunderstood my good sir. Nobody is saying that the medic shouldn't exist or that it doesn't have a very important spot within a team. We blame the fact he's so damn versatile he can do everything by himself.

As for being a disadvantage...Neither the Demo nor Sharp are very mobile perks, and yet they're boss-killers. Again, proving that no perk should be able to deal with everything.
