Very true. But.... I guess depending on how much income they make after EA is complete maybe TW will consider releasing side-grade weapons OR a 2nd weapon for each slot that is almost identical in its capability to existing weapons - but just provide another option for each tier!?

T1 - Varmit Rifle
T2 - SA80 Bullpup
T3 - AK
T4 - Scar
could have:
T1 - M1 Carbine
T2 - FAMAS
T3 - Steyr Aug
T4 - QBZ-95
SWAT
T1 - MP7
T2 - MP5

T4 - Vector
could have
T1 - Scorpian
T2 - Thompson
T3 - MP40
T4 - UMP45
Etc
As a first pass you could just replicate the existing gun stats for each weapon (each class) and then tweak rof one way, initial cost, starting ammo, total ammo, ammo cost, weight, accuracy, etc to make each one slightly different but on a par with existing tier weapons.
