Why does nobody play Classic in North America?

Classic is VERY poorly titled. It also does not help that, at least initially, the classic mode failed due to several factors (super-slow running, stamina hits, etc)...now, no one is willing to give it the benefit of the doubt and try it again.

I hated classic. Now I love it. It's changed a lot.

NOT TO REHASH THIS ARGUMENT, BUT:
It should be called "Hardcore Realism", not "classic". Classic is meaningless and conveys an archaic tone.

Hardcore Realism (or something similar) would pray on internet folks' need to feel masculine and exude awesomeness..."I only play HARDCORE realism...those Realism guys are pansies!"....

NO please DO rehash. Cause it is my truth!

Yes I hated classic too when it came out. The movement speed felt ridiculous. Now I love it (No enemy loadouts! More gun sway!).

As said few times already, majority are not reading the forums, not to mention the changelogs, so why would they play classic now?

And yes, Classic isn't the most appeling name.

I've been trying to get some of the new guys interested in Classic mode. We've already got 50+ people in our group, a lot of whom have never played the mode.

I keep checking the classic server filter and I see even less playing. HOW sad.
