Why do Russians get Fausts?

On maps like Ogledow, there are panzerfausts in every single building for Russians to grab. Why? Nobody picks the Anti Tank Soldier class in Ogledow as russian, because the panzerfaust is so much better and easier to use. People pick the Riflemen class instead, and grab a panzerfaust. Russians camp at the barns until they get all the fausts they need and they run around.

I think its time Russian infantry get there own Anti-Tank weapons to use, or at least replace the fausts at the barns with PTRDs.

I suggest giving soviets Panzerfausts and RPG AT-grenades. Both were used.

What i think needs to happen is the Germans to get a new anti tank weapon, maybe the panzerschrek. This way, having panzerfausts lying around wont make it unfair for one team, rather they will just be pickups both teams can pick up, as each team will already have an anti tank weapon which the other team cant get hold of.

If 2-3 players at one time shoot tank/halftrack it would be destroyed easily

Try running like that with 39 pounds, plus a rifle or SMG. It's not that easy.

The weight of 3 fausts is nothing compared to how bloody awkward it would be trying to carry three huge metal tubes + smg ammunition and so on and still hoof it around effectivly. Hell trying to carry 3 poster tubes in one arm is awkward, imagine doing that with a smg too.

Yes all those soviet tanks running around would be utterly useless.

Yeah but still PTRDs have advantage against panzerfaust in longer ranges if you are a good aimer. And PTRD is more of a sabotage weapon imo.

I realize that you are kind of kidding but... the Germans are attacking. How could they have left panzerfausts at an area in which they have yet to be?

To those that feel we need to limit the number of panzerfausts per soldier just think for a minute.....maybe the reason we have 3 rockets per soldat is because the rockets have been nerfed and it takes often time 2 atleast to destroy a tank.
If the rockets were not nerfed and to balance things each soldier carried one then we would have people whining that the panzerfaust is too strong.

It is a fine way to balance things just leave it alone.

The Russians could however use another/better AT weapon like maybe those magnetic mines.

What are you talking about? I'm against rambo-effect. Hell, weapon change times should be tweaked too.
