I find it very silly and dumb when a person opens the hatch and sticks his head out of the tank in combat. Yes, you have a better view, but you are very easily killed by enemy fire. In a tank battle, I don't even use the cannon. I just shoot the driver's exposed head with my machinegun and he dies. Opening the hatch makes you easily killed by anybody, including small arms. Yesterday, I was going to throw a satchel at a tank, but I see a guy sticking out of the top of the tank, and I shot him. The day before, I was confronted by a Massive tank, and I see his head stick out, so I headshot him with my pistol.

Is there any other advantage of poking your head out of a tank in combat other than increased sights? I think that is sucide sticking your head out.
