It would of been better if TW released the Beta like a month ago so all the Bugs could be Ironed out before release. As it stands right now about 1 week till it officaly launches but the Beta is full of Performance Issues,Crashes and other Bugs.

Usually you don't hold a more open beta 2 weeks before a game goes live.

The game probably had even more bugs. They wanted to release a beta to iron out bugs and stuff, but that doesn't mean it can be full of bugs. They still had to fix some.

Their focus on this beta was NOT bugs. Sure there may be some to find, but the real focus was on server stress tests and player volumes. Please do some research before you post.

They've had a closed beta going months before this beta. Not to mention they squashed a ****load of bugs within a week of this alone.

Kinda hard to stress test a game when you crash in said game every 5 mins.

I wish there were only some bugs to find.

Because they asked people to pay for the beta, they had to make it at least somewhat playable. It seemed like a simple case of money over efficient testing. That's not a bad thing by any means but it may have been beneficial to just put the beta out there for free as it was weeks ago to get a real test of the game.

Open beta's have to be playable to some extent but I have a feeling that because people paid for it, this beta was held to a much higher degree, which is why it took so long to get released.

All speculation btw.

It would of been nice to hold the beta month before release to iron out most of the bugs before launch. Sence that recent patch I cant play at all because of all the crashing. Its driving me nuts.

I see and you came to that conclusion because the game runs so smooth and also the lack of bugs. i guess the game crashing 5 min. after joining a server is a feature of the game.

Because up until about two weeks before open Beta the servers had serious issues. When people joined it lagged and crashed servers, you couldn't get more than 20-30 people without issues of server side lag.

That and numerous other issues . If they could have , they would have.

Don't you think , the guys putting millions of their own dollars on the line, would do everything they can do to have a successful launch?

People are complaining now over the bugs in it, I'd hate to see the nerd rage and indignation if they released it 4 weeks ago.

That being said , I agree a larger sample size in beta would have been beneficial .
