why did not i get avt 40 rifle

Hi all, I've been promoted to veteran but instead of giving me avt 40 rifle i was given G41(W) is there a bug? How can I get this rifle?

By playing assault.

It's a veteran unlock for playing the assault class (only accessible via veteran assault on Allies team). It is also very possible that the server you're playing on may have AVT-40s/MKB42s disabled per server settings. Is this occurring on every server you join, or just one?
