Hm, let's see, Captain Obvious, how would it be possible to reload while in iron sights?

Of course I meant "jogging", as you can clearly read that I was saying "sprinting" interrupted reloading.

If you had a clue, there are plenty of people who for some reason think the default speed is lower than jogging, so if you mean jogging, don't say walk.

Why should you reload while sprinting?
you don't

the problem is when you see the clip inserted, and then start sprinting, but when you start shooting you find out that your gun is still empty because of the reasons already mentioned.

regarding the manual bolting problem, again, all the people completly ignore the bug, manual bolting or not, it's a bug, it's easy to fix, yet nothing is being done about it. people who don't like manual bolting should no be forced to deal with bugs.

regarding the force respawn problem: its not possible that im the only one dealing with this problem.

when you have like 25 seconds in the timer, but all the players who are on the dead list are already respawned, and but their names are still on the list.

so when you press N literally no one gets respawned. having a 0 timer, in the counter is supposed to fix this problem, yet again, nothing is being done about it.

about the artillery problem, i can't belive that someone is actually suggesting to look up in online guides to know how artillery works properly.

so why even have a toturial? let newbies learn EVERYTHING from online guides, cos time is money, and having a a page or two of information explaining the the radius of an arillery barrage and the difference between each type apearantly costs too much money.

because adding a new gun that only level 50+ players can use and new tanks that apear only in one unpopular map is far more important that fixing fundemental flaws in the game

Mate, I'm far away from beeing a veteran- mg class, but still had an awesome time with the MG- 42 on Station yesterday.

You know, you're able to pick things up from the ground?
Just sayin...

Some things I find annoying are interface related, like:
- unable to select the spawn point by clicking on the map rather than the button below
- unable to select a spawn point by double clicking it, rather than clicking on the point and then confirming it with another button

Those are some minor interface issues, but it would really speed up the selection of your spawn, when you realized that you have 2 seconds left to the next spawn wave.

And of course the whole stats progression and unlock system, which I hope to see wholeheartedly changed in the next iteration, as currently other games are doing well without such things. Maybe TWI can add minor visual customizations to characters rather than stat enhancements to long time players. For example insignias (could be whitelisted as the game goes on to allow clans to mark and customize their characters) or a selection of different uniforms or weapon skins to choose from (as it is now, you get the shiniest gun as a high ranked character, even if you might not want that).

And yes, classic removes the unlock system and I appreciate that, but I think the whole community of RO2 should be based on no stat or gameplay unlocks.

Being able simply to press 1,2,3,4 or whatever on the Spawn Screen would be handy. As would the same thing on the role selection page. You could do this on CoD2 for instance.

I always find some lag on these pages, and when my mouse eventually stutters to select the open spot someone else has taken it!

I feel for you, loosing a position you would like to play, is rather annoying. I am mostly annoyed by the missed spawn cycle and then having to wait 20 seconds again, because I couldn't throw my mouse across the screen fast enough. And yes the interface lag also sometimes prevents you from getting the spawn wave that you desired.

I have previously suggested (in beta I think) that everyone should be a riflemen and the specialist classes should have individual queues, so everyone could try to access a special class by queuing up to it. So when the person that had the machinegun dies, the next person in the queue will get it upon respawn (or be able to push a button to forfeit his position, if he is currently in-dispensable in his current position). That way everyone would be able to play a class, people who are well with a class will keep it occupied for longer and people who are bad with a class won't clog it up too long until someone else can try their luck with it.

I guess this whole idea is a rather dramatic thing to do, when you could just follow the other person around and pick up his weapon once he dies, but I like it being done with the interface, I guess.

Edit: That is not to say that the game has come a long way, but those minor nitpicks that come up every time I die are surely to stay with me whenever I play. :)

Edit2: Nevermind, **** this game. Can't play anything besides riflemen, because of slower PC. I want a queue to get a chance at special classes. That or moving everything onto my cramped SSD I guess.

hey, guy, hey, remember how i said i shouldn't be forced to use features i don't like?

so why the hell are you doing just that FFS.

why am i forced to use a feature i don't like, especially if it's superior? why do i have to get my controls handicapped if i want to play the way i want?

if i don't want manual bolting, i shouldn't be handicapped with this bull****! i should be free to play the way i want without the game screwing me over with its controls! there is nothing simpler than this.

not to mention it's completely unrealistic.

also, you people want to tell me that reloading, and then finding out the the gun is still empty never happened to you? hard to believe i'm the only person suffering from this

Loading a clip into a large bolt action rifle while running is pretty difficult and takes a lot more time, might as well just leave it out to prevent complaining... oh wait.

My point is that reloading pretty much any kind of weapon means putting a small object into another thing that's pretty much exactly as big and not a millimeter bigger. Doing that while moving is very difficult.

This is not an issue with the game but you just asking for the devs to add something that's in some cases marginally better than what's already there. The only times you would move while reloading is when you see a grenade being thrown at you in which case sprinting away is your first and only concern and not reloading your gun.

what? did you read my posts with blindfolds on? when did i ever request to be able reload magazines while running?

the problem as i already stated multiple times is, that if you already put the magazine in and then started to spring, suddenly the gun is magically empty again. which is utter BS.

and for the record, yes, i prefer it would be like RO1, because it's much better to know what is going on, than being screwed over by the game's faulty reload mechanic.

but if TWI would just put a little drop of attention to it, they can just either give the guns 'ready to fire' 'uncocked' and 'missing clip' status to prevent this BS from happening again.
