That's what I was trying to prove.
I actaully UPGRADED to this video card a month ago lol. I was using the stock integrated GeForce 6150SE and I'm getting another 2GB of RAM soon best thing I can do, don't have $800 to build a whole new system.
If I had oodles of monies I would be running with 5Ghz quadcore with a TB of RAM and that badass GTX "fastest on the planet" GPU.
Honestly, you don't even need that. Here is my system specs:
Intel I5 2500K running 4GHz
4GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Asus P8Z68 VPRO motherboard
Asus GTX460 1GB overclocked to GTX560 speeds
Asus Xonar DS sound card (not crap onboard reltek sound)
Bose 2.1 speakers
22 inch LCD monitor
W7-64 bit (SP1)
Ok, there is my system that I personally built around 6 months ago now. I play this game in 1680x1050 resolution. V-sinc turned off in control panel. I run Ultra quality game settings on everything except shadows which I lowered to "high". I run with FSAA turned completly off both in-game and in the Nvidia control panel. I disabled all the mouse smoothing junk. I am using the 275.33 certified Nvidia driver.
The above settings give me a solid 80 FPS using fraps. At times I see 100 FPS as well! I have never, not a single time seen less then 60 FPS on my fraps counter...
So, this proves to me the game is not the issue. "It is the driver, and not the car" so to speak. You people need to learn how to build proper gaming PC's. If not, I suggest stiicking to console gaming and call it a day!
Stop spreading FUD about the game when in fact it is your own hardware that is the main issue!
