Why all the hate on the Claymore Sword?

Just implemented some changes in mine balance mutator:
  • Lowered Katana's FireRate 0.67s -> 0.75s
  • Raised Claymore's FireRate 1.05s -> 0.95s
Results:
  • Claymore now has ~20% more DPS than Katana (they were the same before).
  • Claymore can chain ZED times
  • Katana due to its fast swing speed still is more preferable on smaller zeds
  • Claymore due to its longer range seems sweet now

You can download the mutator and check it by yourself (ServerPerksV5 required).

Shoot, I'm definitely going to download this and check it out. I still think the Claymore is a decent weapon. It's just no Katana.
