There is just a fine line, if i wanted realism and wear a uniform i'd go do reenacting or sign in the military(which i wanted but no good WWII reenactment groups here).
And playing a realism game the realism way... jeeze...
I'd totally show off my full WWII Soviet soldier kit! ... If I had it. I'm planning on getting one to go with my PPSh-41 though. Have had my eyes on it for a while.

Just finished making my newspaper pilotka, but I cant make a star so I took a red crayon and drew an asterisk on the front.

Actually, I find that my uniform is more comfortable than most of the clothes I own.
Besides, it's not like it's heat index 125 Fahrenheit and walking around in Civil War uniform and gear in my room. WWII is a vacation compared to that.
