Actually ive come to the conclussion, that the crashes that im having, is due to my memory running out. And its not possible for me to increase any more memory, as im running win7 32bit version. So im pretty much screwed...

I'm not prepared, I've waited long enough. Although I have a feeling it is going to be delayed...

Personally I wouldn't mind waiting at all, but there's a thin line to walk for a developer to delay the game enough to fix the most severe bugs but not to delay so much that potential buyers lose interest.

See, I think it's a lot easier for people with beta access to say they'd be willing to wait a month...THEY HAVE THE GAME!

I'm tearing myself up over the very thought of having to wait another month.

I haven't run into any gamebreaking bugs..however, I have a good rig/good amt of ram so my equipment is less vulnerable to these memory crashes that some other folks.

I'd rather not wait. I want to play RO2 before next month as I will be very busy. Some bugs won't bother me.

Personally I like the 1st couple months of RO releases. It's kinda like xmas watching and following all the patch fixtures.

I dont have the deluxe edition. So.if there is a delay I want all preorders in the beta. But generally, I'd rather have a clean retail release than a retail beta release. Brink did that and it hurt the game.

this.

no beta and no release make Bear go CRAZY!!!

Don't launch too early!

Don't launch too early!

I think it would be disastrous for launch if they shipped like this (or in a week). Plenty of games have tanked and wasted ALL their dev time and hard work by releasing too fast and driving all their customers away with an unpolished product. Is the gameplay in RO2 awesome? YES! Would i feel comfortable telling a friend to buy a game in this state 9 days before launch? no.

There's zero point...It's a digital game and can be updated.

When people say, "Its okay they can just patch it" I feel the need to ask, when has releasing a game as is despite bugs/performance issues ever worked out?

Anyone here ever play Homefront, Brink, Fallout NV, or any number of games that shouldn't have been released as they were? Sure they all were decent games, but releasing the game as it was and hoping to patch it later was a big mistake for those games.

The better the game is at launch the more likely the game will do well. RO is already considered a niche game which limits its appeal to begin with, but releasing it full of bugs would ruin its potential for a lot of people.

Glad so many are willing to wait and be patient. We have all been waiting a long time, what is another month out of all the years since Ro:Ostfront?

If they release it now, due to the need to maintain the servers / game I think that it would take x2 as long to bug fix as it would if they dont release it and focus on bug fixing now, without the confusion of thousands of gamers on their servers.

I was Extreme Ultra Hyped .. before the beta (haven't tried it!) but after reading Crying threats over and over again my hype dropped, I also got Deus Ex so i am fine... Still this is MY most anticipated game of the year one month is a long time but I could do it ....!

you guys realize that they can work on it after its released right? That's what they will do, release it and keep on fixing things as they arise. They still have a week to fix stuff, cut em some slack.
