Ive noticed theres been a lot of unfinished maps on the whitelisting thread lately, or people just simply dont want to put any effort on their maps before requesting them to be whitelisted.
So what Im asking from any new (or experienced) mappers, is to actually finish their maps before requesting them to be whitelisted... Its a lot of extra work for both TW and KEPT testing the maps, putting them on the whitelist and removing/replacing them over and over again.
I understand that not everyone can be a professional mapper, but seriously guys, if you just spend 2 days making your map and thought youd release it, thats just wrong... Making a map takes months depending how much time you spend on it every day, so if you arent prepared to take your time with the it, you should think twice before even opening the editor.
When you THINK you are done with the map, ask yourself: Would I play this map? Because, if it looks like someone just spend 2 hours building a square with couple of hallways and couldnt even bother texturing them properly, I know I wouldnt play it. Heck, I know no-one would play it. So whats the point putting it up on the whitelist?
In fact, I think there should be SOME requirements on the quality and playability of the maps before they are being whitelisted, at least that would encourage mappers to put some effort in their maps before releasing them.
